Mary & Lisa Back at Preschool!

Rising seniors, Mary Javaherian & Lisa Petrosian volunteered some of their summer vacation time back to where it all started, Preschool! We have been both attending Mesrobian since we were 2 and a half years old, and being in the environment brought to us many wonderful memories and most definitely, nostalgia. Not only did our visit put a smile on our face, but it also left one on each and every child enrolled in Mesrobian preschool summer camp. From conducting simple activities like a coloring contest all the way to obstacle courses, our tiny friends were full of energy and eager to participate and win the contests every day. We had one goal and one goal only, to make each day of summer camp count! Whether is was through fun summer activities or educational projects to give them a taste of kindergarten! Through coloring, chalk, and puzzles activities we achieved a new method of learning how to spell and count while having tons of fun. With academics being top of our mind, we also exercised day to day life skills for our tiny friends to retain, such as learning what is right from wrong, waiting their turn, standing up for yourself respectfully, and most importantly spreading kindness. It is safe to say, mission accomplished! This was a very wonderful and unforgettable experience. We're so glad to have had this opportunity since spreading positivity and inclusivity is always what we stand and push for.
